“Apple Harvest at Spirit of Prespa” was organized by the company Red Sky Logistics, from 21st of September till 20th of October 2019 (10 days – 5 weekends, Saturdays and Sundays) and was held in the village Carev Dvor, Resen.

The aim of this event was to put Prespa on the map of rural tourism and promote regional rural tourism by providing to the guests’ first-hand experience on the farm and enrich their general knowledge on agriculture. The event gathered different groups of participants, guests, that had the possibility to visit Prespa, to be farmers for one day and try traditional food and drinks.

This Event contributed to development of rural and mountain tourism in the cross-border region of Prespa and strengthen the rural regional economy with promotion of tourism and the regional cooperation.

The event was supported within the project: “Diversification of economic activities in rural areas of Southeast Europe through value chain development (SEDRA)” implemented by SWG and GIZ.
